Hey Dolls!!!!
OMG, Iowa has officially become the north pole...i don't think we need to wait for december to see Santa!!!
It is that time of year to start thinking of what great winter accessories you're going to throw on because you have to look FABULOUS during all seasons!!!
Here is a sneak peak at some essential winter gear that should help you guide your style quotient this winter...
1. Erin Fetherston premiered some FABULOUS fall/winter couture early this year at fashion week!!! Inspired by Nico, the epitome of Bohemia, Fetherston used soft fabrics to combine chic with rock 'n roll!!!
2. Over the Knee boots: termed as this winter's must have essential, these classy boots are available in bold colors (purple being my fav!) for the risque, or just the classic black for those who like to keep it classy!
3. "Masculinized" wardrobes: its the year of woman power! Military prints and the traditional camel color palate is back! Features like bow blouses, ruffles and tailored waistcoats that feminize "masculine" styles are soooooo in style dolls!
4. If you have a fetish for scarves like me or hats like my friend Kari Bornong, there is something for everybody this winter. I just checked out 'Simply Vera' by Vera Wang, and let me tell you....her stuff is to die for! Given that classic gray and black are hot colors this winter, always remember to add some color to that palate with a HOT accessory....like the purple 'Simply Vera' scarf...or a fun Nobis Adora knit cap (super trendy this season too)...
5. SHOES: Tia Cibani at Ports 1961 has designed the "IT" shoes this season, with the two-tone angular heel which can be attached to several styles, including a crisscross platform sandal and tall boots in both leather and suede...yummy! The bootie trend is still very in and this year fashion icon Marc Jacobs, and fashionisita Olsen twins opted for lower heels! Whatever your preference, invest in some booties today!!!!
6. LBG: move over LBD...its the age of the little black glove! Oh so chic, and Oh so adorable! Jenni Kayne, igal Azrouƫl, and Dennis Basso all premiered their LBG obsession this year at fashion week! The most adorable one was Cushnie et Ochs, which was literally dripping with Swarovski crystals.
7. Lastly, geometric prints and accessories are totally in! Donna Karan showcased cubes, orbs, and jacks which added some edge to the slick black and gray palates!
Hope this helps you get a clue on what to wear this winter because no matter what the season, remember to always keep it stylish!!!
until next time dolls...

It Gets Better!!!
Hey Dolls!!!
hope you guys have been bundling up cause it is getting 'chilly' outside! I know I have been really bad about updating you FABULOUS dolls with the latest happenings, but being a college student is just so hard! However things are going to change!
I wanted to start off talking about the HUGE "It gets better" campaign that had the nation by storm. The campaign is set up to end homophobic bullying and bigotry. So many people have shown their support and it is amazing to say that times are officially changing! Homophobic bullying, slander, and bigotry are just ignorant minds that are resting in a devil's workshop! Thanks to the amazing support from family and friends, I have never been a victim of such dehumanization, but there are so many young lives lost to the societal evil of homophobia! It is a lot to ask every single individual to make national protests against homophobia, but there are small changes we can make in our lives which are baby steps towards the larger goal! One thing I noticed is that people use the word "gay" to symbolize something negative! NOT COOL...It is not okay for people to say "that's gay" or "you're gay" for things they find unpleasant. Recently I saw a friend use the term "faggot" and we had a heated discussion on it. I know the person did not mean for it in a derogatory fashion, but how dare you think it is okay for anyone to use that word in any context??? Is this not one step back??? I was OFFENDED and I'm sure millions out there were too...
Second on the agenda, I wanted to clarify some things. This blog is not an outlet for me to criticize and "gossip" about people. I love to talk about fashion, family, friends, relationships, heartache, and so much more. If there is ever a time you think I have offended your sentiments, please write back and let me know how I can change it.
Now that we have gotten all of that cleared up, lets discuss one of my favorite things...MARGARITAS....I am in love with Hacienda and their strawberry/mango margs-They are FABULOUS and to die for. I really recommend everyone try one! Their food is super too! The other night we were at Hacienda- and one fishbowl and a couple of jumbos later, let me just tell you, thins were getting freaky! Move over cocaine, we are in for a tequila overdose....LOL
Talking about fabulous food, I wanted to ask all you dolls about what your favorite food was....Mine is definitely home cooked Indian food...especially now that I only eat it once every 4 months!!! :(
Well that's all for today! Write back and let me know what you wanna hear about or just what's on your mind lately! Even though I am swamped with tests, and homework and all that other fun stuff, I wanna know what you fabulous people are up to!!!!
Until next time....
Peace and Blessings, peace and blessings...

FASHIONISTASSSS!!!
Hey Dolls!!!
so i realized that this is my first post for the new month of October!!! I have just been so tied up with college, tests, catching up with friends, research, and all that boring stuff that it has given me no time to post something fresh for you guys...even my mother said, "You haven't blogged in a long time!!!" But, things are about to change.
First things first. I promised you guys the last time we spoke that I had a fashion surprise for all you FABULOUS dolls! Therefore I have picked 5 MUST HAVES in your closet, regardless of the weather of course!
1. The most essential accessory to a woman's wardrobe is the quintessential stiletto! It is great for any occasion and looks great with almost anything! My good friends at ShoeDazzle have a great collection of shoes designed especially for your style statement! Some of the hottest new styles are below:
2. Second, every person, whether male or female, must own a cute button down plaid shirt. Many times mistaken as a fall only accessory, the plaid shirt is great during all seasons.

You are allowed to wear plaid in any color. However flannel is just not acceptable! The great thing about plaid is that it is flattering! It works well for a plethora of body types!!!
3. At little rock accessory has never hurt anyone! I'm a big fan of the skeleton key necklace for women and those stunning wayfarer sunglasses that are ooh so chic, and invading all the runways of the fashion capitols!
4. The Mulberry Alexa Bag!!! This bag is just so delicious that one can't stop drooling over them. Watch out HERMES cause we have a new diva in town!
5. A great pair of jeans! Most people go wrong here because they choose something that is cost-effective but not style effective! Good jeans are an INVESTMENT dolls!!! There are jeans out there for all shapes and sizes and it is just about wearing the ones that flatter your assets and hide your flaws! If your a little chunky on the thighs then stay away from the straight cut skinnys! If you have nice toned legs then throw away those boyfriend jeans and wear something more fitted. I am a fan of boot-cut but not for someone who is below 5 ft tall! I am not going post a picture of the perfect jean because it varies from person to person! Dolls, head out to your nearest jean heaven and find yourself that perfect fit. ITS WORTH IT!!!
Hope you guys enjoyed this segment. Write back and tell me what you think of my top picks and if you agree/disagree, or just have some more suggestions!
Until next time...

Am I just hungover you???
Hey Dolls!!!
So today I wanted to talk about something that hits a little closer to home...in fact I was inspired by my good friend KE$HA and her song hungover that not only dealt with her recurring alcoholism and drug problems but also had a deeper mean of losing love!
One of my girlfriends just got out a serious relationship and she has been trying to pull herself back together...but its HARD!!! They were engaged for 8 months and then out of the blue, things were called off, and two weeks later he is apparently in love with someone else???? HOW RUDE!!!! Now let me tell you something about this FABULOUS doll; she is young, smart, independent, and definitely does not give a shit what you think about her cause she does what she wants!!! I always ask her and myself, how can someone with such a distinct personality still want to make things right with a DOUCHE BAG like that???
Another girlfriend was in a serious relationship for about 18 months and let the man walk all over her...in fact she had style, she had flair, she was there, and that's why she became his NANNY!!! She finally called things off and is now happy and single, and definitely FABULOUS!!!!
The question we need to ask ourselves is why do we have such insecurities when it comes to relationships? Are we scared of being alone? I do get the point that there are always adjustments and sacrifices in a relationship, but how do people with such unique personalities become such conformists in a relationship???
One thing is for sure, I'm glad I got out my serious relationship when I did otherwise I would be a domesticated fool, and that would not be fabulous!!!
On a side note, my FABULOUS mother has become the new Carrie Bradshaw of the Eastern world, reporting all the hip and happening from the Upper-East side of India. A big shout out to Kari Bornong <3 who is moving to Des Moines to save the little kiddies out there! Love and power to my doll Lady GAGA for rocking out a beautiful Alexander McQueen and Argentinian meat dress, and also reminding the world about her love for the gays!
Write back to me with all your feedback dolls, I wanna know what you divas think! It is starting to get cold out here so its time to put away my hoodie and throw on my pea-coat! Next time I have a great surprise for all you fashionistas so get pumped dolls!!!
Do remember to tune into the fabulous new season of Gossip Girl and Glee...we are in for a TV viewing extravaganza this fall!
Until we meet again...

Somebody call 911!!!
Hey dolls!!!
so i realized that i have been a slacker in my postings...but i have just been so busy and not so fabulous, rocking it out in the LIBRARY!!!! Who knew college was this intense...they missed that part out in the orientation..LOL
On a different note, my FABULOUS eyes fell upon something rather strange this past week.
First, there was this not so FABULOUS wannabe doll who said blogs are so early 2000s...well given the fact that he is 20 and he would have been 10 in 2000, i dont know what blog he was reading...LOL...secondly this wannabe who will never be said that people don't care about my life!?! UGHH how RUDE!!! Ironically enough, this person has now started his own blog trying to talk about his not so FABULOUS life, which by the way includes living in a house infested with cats and dogs....is this ZOO WORLD????
This blog is not just about my life hunny, its about all of you the readers...its about us sharing our experiences and having a forum to reach-sometimes to discuss a hot topic, vent about how suckky our day was, or anything you feel at the time!
Second WEIRD sighting of the week, a man riding his bicycle, but hold your breath doll, with an attached boom box trailing behind him! This man legit had a little cart attached to his bike carrying this boom box!!!! I wish I had a picture but by the time i got over my SHOCK, he was gone!
Third weird sighting....KURT on Glee....hunny i know fashion has no gender but it is unacceptable to wear a washed out, grandma knit sweater along with a badly accented black tie up! I though Lea Michelle had it bad with naughty school girl knee-high socks and vintage skirts, that should have stayed vintage....
These were the top three SHOCKING sightings of the week that made me pull out my blackberry and call the fashion police, because that shit is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
I also wanted to know what you guys think about Joan Rivers as the new fashion police??? Im not a big fan of botox in a gold jacket, but that is just my opinion...
I hope all of you are enjoying the first day of fall and rocking out those pea-coats, wedges, metallic totes, and of course a KILLER attitude. Remember to stay stylish, and stay FABULOUS!!!
Until next time...
XOXO

People DO NOT take Advice well!!!
Hey Dolls!
hope your doing FABULOUS and enjoying yourselves with my treat of blog posts!
I thought I had to tell you guys about my experience with giving friends advice. Have you ever thought that telling a friend something they ought to know will make you a better friend? If YES, then you can resonate my emotions. There are many times in life when circumstances place you in awkward situations. For example, you know your friend's boyfriend is cheating them, that DOUCHE BAG, and you think that telling that friend will be the right thing to do...well DON"T!!! Its a horrible idea, because all you end up doing is looking like a tattle-tale, while your friend still dates the douche bag, and now you have not only lost your friend but also your credibility as a good spy!
A similar situation happened to me a couple of months ago. One of my then dear friends was going through a deep depression and we as a friends circle were there to help her! Well I guess some of us were not as caring as the rest! One not so fabulous person, lets name her PINK ELEPHANT (i am to credit for this but everyone also calls her this, and if you claim you don't, your clearly LYING!!!)...pink elephant seemed to consoling depressed chick but actually was pretending by actually crying big fat elephant tears while in the presence of depressed chick, but then came back to everyone in the friends circle and bithched depressed chick out!!! AWFUL
Well I went and told depressed girl about the happening, she confronted pink elephant and pink elephant cried some more elephant tears and refuted the whole situation....BITCH....the result of this whole fiasco was that i was isolated from the friends circle, now labeled a LIAR (GAWD!!!) and elephant and depressed have spaghetti parties together (not like either needs it!!!)....
Thankfully these people did not affect my FABULOUS social and PR reputation, and they have thankfully disappeared into the balck holes they came from...GOOD RIDDANCE...
My point here is that as much as you think your being helpful but giving your friend advice, your in turn only hurting yourself! Though we all wanna be good people, we must realize the consequences of our actions!
Thats all for today's lesson dolls! Write back and tell me what your experiences are...
Until next time...
XOXO

Are all boys douchebags????
Hey Dolls!!!
Today I have been faced with quite an interesting dilemma...are all boys douchebags???
Being a man myself, my initial reaction was NO, but then after careful consideration of my past and the past of some of my closest dolls, I may have to change that answer!
Most of my ex-boyfriends have started off good...the dinners, the flowers, the intimacy, and then they all followed the same pattern...they all of a sudden became the psychotic, obsessive, and douches that I wanted nothing to do with.
I thought I was the only one sailing on this yacht (cause as you know I don't do boats...TACKY), and then i asked some of my dolls about this....they all seemed to agree that in today's day and age, there no one worth dating! Let me make it clear that this does not mean the extinction of good looking boys...or the death of the romantics...but there are no guys, maybe just a handful-MAYBE, that have the combination of the two.
People assume that in the gay world, the hope still lives. HOWEVER, let me tell you, it doesn't and obviously whoever came up with that theory was STRAIGHT!!! LOL
One of my friends even dated this amazing guy, who then turned out to be a leech! I mean i am all for the egalitarian socieyt of equal power to men and women, and hence we can all pay for our boyfriends once in a while....but HELLO fellows...girls are not your DOORMAT, or ATM, or your MOTHER!!!
Are men like a pair of choos? attractive, expensive, yet worn only a couple of times....Have we come into a time where men can no longer be compared to the long-lasting, sturdy Hermes bag???
My friend Carrie Bradshaw would agree that it's hard finding that one BIG love, some have to even wait 40 years! I, on the other hand do not have those years to waste...I am at the peak of my youth, young, fresh, and definitely FABULOUS!!! I am now on an eternal quest to find that hunky chunk or romantic...its a challenge!!!
Write to me and tell me what you think of boys...are you sailing in my yacht or what? I wanna know how spicy your love life is...
Until next time...
XOXO

Goodbyes :(::
Hey Dolls!!!
So to continue with the tone of mushiness from the last post, i wanted to dedicate this one of to one my best friends...Kari Bornong!
Ms.B and I became friends on very absurd circumstances...all our common friends thought both of us, with our volatile yet FABULOUS personalities, would be a disaster match! To top things off, the first time I met Ms.B, I spilled an entire beer on her futon!!! OOPSIES :)
Kari and I have been really good friends for the past two years where we have had many ups and DOWNS...we have laughed together till our stomachs couldn't bare it anymore, had a couple of intoxicated teary moments, but most importantly, we have done it together!!!
As Ms.B now moves to DSM, to save a million lives being a FABULOUS nurse, I am going to be a little incomplete...Who is going to explain the rules of football and baseball while we sit front row??? Who is gonna share a fishbowl margarita with me at Hacienda??? Who am I gonna to have on speed dial whenever I have a funny/sad/emotional/random story to tell??? :(
I love you Ms.B and I wanted to dedicate something to you that means so much to me and I'm sure it means so much to you! Here is to you and your FABULOSITY doll!!!
Until next time my sugar muffins...
XOXO

Family MATTERS...
Hey Dolls!!!
Hope the lovely fall weather is keeping you positive and FABULOUS...i hope you have your best fall fashions out to play too!!!
Today I wanted to give you guys a little insight into my dysfunctional, yet FABULOUS family!
Family is very important to me and I guess it is a cultural thing! I've grown up with 2 very distinct, yet highly intelligent parents and a beautiful older sister who has been a best friend, a soul mate, a shoulder to cry on, sometimes a nightmare (LOL), but most importantly someone who I look up to- Love u lishes! xoxo
My parents never pressured us to be something that they wanted, but moreover they guided us into pursuing things that we love, and for that I LOVE them!
If you thought the Kardashian bunch were loonies, you havn't been exposed to the Furniturewallas. Our family gatherings are intense! Also I guess as Indians we are loud, but somehow my family seem to break all the decibel meters! We have some not so liked people too but lets not waste anytime on them!
My super busy schedule and FABULOUS lifestyle makes me forget sometimes how important my family is to me and how much I miss them when i am here in the States! I guess we all take advantage of our family always being there for us, no matter what!
Mommylicious, I know that I snap at you a bunch, but that is just because I love u and know u are the only person who will tolerate my shit! Your a superwoman, an inspiration, an intellectual, but most importantly you are a FABULOUS mother!!! Alisha and me love u tenders and are always here for u!
Now that we have gotten all sentimental and mushy, lets discuss last nights gossip girl episode and of course my favorite topic Lady GAGA!!! what did you dolls think of her meat dress, or her 12 foot long layered garbage bag dress??? I read some critical analysis about her VMA fashion choices, but I would just like to say, that she was BORN THIS WAY!!! (her FABULOUS new single)...
Leave your love and comments and keep following dolls!!!
Until next time hunny Bees...
XOXO

GAGANESS!!!
Hey Dolls!
A big thank you to all those fashionistas that have been following me...you guys are wonderful! I thought today i could tell you about the fantastic experience I had at the Lady GaGa concert i recently attended!
As you all may have gathered, me and the Lady are connected! She sings to my soul and i have her on repeat on my ipod!
My FABULOUS friend Brooke Jonas and I decided to get front row tix to her amazing concert in St.Paul, MN over the summer and were fbing and even had a countdown all summer long!
We arrived there on the 31st of aug and stayed at the fabulous holiday inn which happened to be right across from the concert arena!
The Lady was amazing..more like awe-inspiring! She sang every single hit song including paparazzi, telephone, monster, poker face, just dance, and ofcourse BAD ROMANCE!!!
Brooke and I were def the more under-dressed attendees to this concert...most of my fellow members of the gay community were dressed in different outfits Gaga has sported over the year!
after 3 hours of being "butt raped", thrown form side to side, jam out sessions, and very sweaty armpits on my head and shoulders, Brooke and I were in NIRVANA...a definate state of zen!
Im posting some pics so all you little monsters can throw your paws up and be jealous! I would def recommend her concert for everyone who has the chance to see her live...it changed our lives and it will change yours too!
Until next time dolls...
XOXO

Fall Fashions and Fashion Disasters!
Hey Dolls!
Everyone is ready for fall and everyone has the same dilemma! Well the amazing part of this blog is that i get to share some amazing advice with all my followers about what and what not to wear!
Firstly lets not throw away all those plaid creations in your closet just yet! If you thought plaid was big last year, it seems to be even bigger this season! Plaid long tops thrown over leggings or cute denim cut off shorts make for a delightful back to college look! Im personally not a big fan of plaid dresses because it just seems like girls look like scarecrows in that, but if you can pull it off, go for it SISTER!!!
Boys here is a piece of info for you too....plaid button downs over colored jeans-whether pink/purple/blue skinnies for that edgy look- or just a good ol' fitting washed out denim looks FABULOUS!!! There is however a difference between cute plaid and FLANNEL!!!! please avoid any sort of flannel except for a slumber party with friends or behind CLOSED doors! We dont want to be a faux pas dolls!!!!
Vogue Paris stated that lipsticks are back with a bang this season! I seem to agree...choose something that suits your complexion and makes you feel FABULOUS....remember that 3/4 of a look is in the attitude!
I was walking around campus earlier and noticed some interesting fashion statements....girls in lab coats, boys in formal shirts with basketball shorts, and some other not so trendy back to college looks! I wish i could photograph them but apparently that is considered infringement...YES a fashion infringement!!!
If your looking for something to do with your hair, au natural is sooo in this season! let those luscious locks flow and throw those hair irons out! I would even recommend cute curls or a fuller look!
Whatever your style may be, always remember to keep it stylish and definately keep it FABULOUS!!!
Until next time...
XOXO

Just for Starters!!!!
Hey Dolls!
Firstly let me thank all of your darling people for logging on and showing your support! This blog has been a real work in progress....well I have always had a lot of things to say but somehow never found the right medium to express what i really feel.
Initially I tried the whole "i say it like i see it" business but that did not work out too well...LOL...This blog is all about me and the fabulous experiences I have had in such a short time (20 yrs of course)...I want all of you to post your comments and suggestions on things you would like me to share....please note that this is for everyone who appreciates a good laugh, enjoys what i have to say, and basically is just as FABULOUS as I am! There is a zero tolerance policy towards hate mail, discrimination, or any such profanity!
Sit back, relax, and embrace yourselves for entry into one of the most FABULOUS experiences you have come across is a LONG time!!!
Until next time...
XOXO
