Hey Dolls!!!!
Hope all of you had a fantastic start to the year because as you could tell from my last post, I definitely had a great time bringing in the New Year with friends and family back home in India!
So classes have started and after last semester, I still feel burnt out! I mean it is great being back and catching up with old friends, but this whole going to class business is just not my kinda thing!
Alternating between a business and a psych major can be real tough! The copious amounts of information that I have to process is wearing me down! Also I feel all these meat heads in my class (no offense but they are not really bright) seem to be grasping more information than me! So much for underestimating the enemy!
Well enough of me bitching and venting! I think a great solution to this problem is finding my calling. Earlier in the year I was jokingly telling my mom about how I need to take some time off and find my passion. To which she shrugged her shoulders and told me to suck it up! RUDE
I think I really need to introspect and realize what I want to do with my life before I waste any more of my parents' dollars! OOPS...
Hopefully by my next post I should have a clearer idea on what I am going to do. I know one thing for sure, right now my college education seems to be washed down the drain!
Just wanted to keep in touch and make sure you dolls are having a fabulous year!
Love you bunches...
XOXO

New Year, New Me
Hey Dolls!!!
So it has been a very long time since we have connected and I do apologize for the delayed response! What can I say, it has just been such a busy time both academically and personally that I have barely had any time to breathe!
I ended last semester at Coe with a 4.0 GPA which was just FABULOUS. I had worked so hard (but partied harder) and it was just relieving to reap the fruits of your hard work...*tear, tear*
I left for India on the 15th of December and I was all charged up to be back at the motherland! It was also a special time because my cousin sister whom I am super close to was getting married!!!
Like everything else Indian, the wedding was grand, loud, and full of excitement. It was great seeing relatives from near and far, and just having a blast! After all the stress and commotion from last semester, this is a break I most definitely needed!
Christmas was a blast too. I headed over to my good friend Kim's house, who by the way is just such a doll. Kim is probably the most selfless person I have met, always helping out a friend in need! I just adore her family too, and feel right at home at their place. Every year, Kim's mom Anette cooks up this feast and their house turns into this massive celebration, where people walk in and out (by the end of the night they are stumbling) from sunrise to the next sunrise!
The most refreshing part of being in India was a sense of belonging. I always feel at ease being in a familiar location. The hustle-bustle of a big city topped with the sirens of bustling traffic is soothing to my heart! I also love being in the company of my family because they embrace my craziness very uniquely to say the least! I had a great time catching up with friends and family, sipping on those delicious cocktails, enjoying the day spa with mom, relishing those well prepared homemade meals, devouring the street food, and most importantly being in great weather!
I headed back that long flight to America and much to my amazement, my baggage did not make it along with me. American Airlines really needs to get their act together before I slap a lawsuit on them! They lost my bags when I went to India too!
Well while I sip on my coffee and wait for my bags to arrive, you my darlings must wait for my next post which I promise will be soon. Obviously I must keep you updated with the weekend's shenanigans!
Until next time my lovelies...
XOXO
